Two-Factor Email Code Authentication
As of today's server save, you can use Two-Factor Email Code Authentication as an alternative to using a Two-Factor Authenticator App. Both methods offer an additional layer of security to help prevent unauthorised access to your Tibia account. However, accounts can only be connected to one authentication method.
You can select one of the methods via your account management page. More information can be found in the manual here.
Please also note that we will change the login process within the next month. To log in, you will then need your password and the account's email address. Your account name is no longer required. So make sure that your Tibia account is assigned to a valid email address!

Sign Up for the VANGUARD Tournament Tibians, you can now sign up for the upcoming Test Tournament! Help us put Tournaments to the test and get hands-on experience by becoming a part of this unique adventure.

Log into your account on the Tibia website to create a new character for the Tournament world type of your choice. You can then purchase your ticket in the game via the Tournament window and sign up the character, if you have at least one character with level 100 on your account. Keep in mind that you also need Premium status to buy a ticket and to play on a Tournament world.
Of course, we hope we can count on your feedback and suggestions about Tournaments. Share your VANGUARD experiences with us and tell us what you liked and disliked, what you want to see changed or added for future Tournaments and why so we can understand your point of view better!
With today's server save, we have also expanded the Cyclopedia character section. You can now see the following information for your current character there:
- summary of all items you have in your character's Inventory, Depot Boxes, Stash, Inbox and Store Inbox
- summary of your character's mounts and outfits
- summary all Store products your character currently has
A click on an item will bring you to its Cyclopedia entry. You will also be able to view the character details of your Tournament characters there once they have been logged in to the game for the first time.

Do you enjoy the adrenaline rush and excitement at the start of a new game world? It is but a small taste of what is to come! Within the last months, the Tibia team has been working diligently to bring you a new thrilling experience that many of you have been asking for.
Tournaments are a new opportunity for ambitious and committed Tibians to prove themselves. Score as many points as possible within a predefined time period and Tournament setting.
Tournaments are not about how much time you can spend playing, they focus on who are the most efficient and skilled players. Therefore, the daily playtime of a Tournament character between two server saves is limited to 4 hours. Can you come up with the best strategies to make most out of it?
To participate, you need a Tournament character and a ticket, and you need to fulfil certain criteria. Tournament characters do not count towards the character limit of an account, but an account can only have two of them, one for each Tournament world type we offer:

For those who enjoy a slower-paced, more demanding experience.
Here, the following Store products are not available: XP boosts, casks and kegs, exercise weapons and dummies, potions and runes, gold converters, blessings, temple teleports, Prey wildcards and permanent Prey slot, gold pouch, charm expansion, and hirelings.

For those who want to speed up and facilitate their progress.
Here, the Store offers the same products like every other game world.

All Tournament characters start with level 20, basic skills, and 20,000 gold on their bank account. Upon sign-up, you can select your Tournament world, your vocation and city to start in. The character progress will be reset after a Tournament has ended.
Once a tournament is over, you will be rewarded with Tournament Coins, Tibia Coins or Tournament Ticket vouchers depending on your final rank in the leaderboard of your Tournament world. You can spend your Tournament Coins on exclusive cosmetics such as mounts and outfits which will be unlocked for every character on your account.
The leaderboards for each Tournament world can be viewed on the website and ingame. Moreover, the Character Tracking Channel ingame allows you to keep a close eye on the top 11 of your Tournament world as well as on your own rank and characters close to your rank. A level up, a death, a kill – this channel shows it all. So keep your wits about you as you see your competitors rise in rank and your pursuers gain ground!
On all Tournament worlds, the following features are not available:
- Stamina
- Daily Reward System
- Achievements
- Guild System
- Loyalty Skill Bonus
- Highscores and Kill Statistics
- PvE Arena Fights
- Boost Events (e.g. Double XP/Skill, Rapid Respawn)
And since nothing compares to first-hand experience, you can sign up for the test Tournament VANGUARD after tomorrow's server save until May 27, 10:00 CEST. VANGUARD will run from May 27, 10:00 CEST, to June 03, 10:00 CEST. The PvP type will be Open PvP.
The ticket prices for VANGUARD will be lowered to 15,000 Gold (regular) and 1 Tibia Coin (restricted Store). Your participation in VANGUARD will be honoured, albeit rewards will not be on par with those of a real Tournament.
Rules and score set for VANGUARD will be kept simple. After tomorrow's server save, you can check all details on the Tournament website section and the Tournament window ingame. The Tournament window is also the place to go to purchase a Tournament ticket.

To the keen observer, the crocovile is clearly a relative of the crocodile, albeit their look suggests an even more aggressive nature.

While it is true that the power of their massive and muscular body can not only crush enemies dead but also break through any gate like a battering ram, the River Crocovile, the Swamp Crocovile, and the Nightmarish Crocovile are, above all, steadfast companions showing unwavering loyalty to their owner.
Once bought, your character can use the mount ingame anytime, no matter if you are a free account or a premium account.

Your body is covered in countless battle marks and there are rumours that you completed the desert quest - alone? Everyone in town knows your name and even the towncryer is telling stories about your heroic deeds? You must be a tough hero! But have you ever passed the hardest challenge of all...? Have you ever taken care of a baby?
Tomorrow, May 07, the world event "Demon's Lullaby" starts again. Time for you to prove your courage and your babysitting skills. Travel to the Jakundaf Desert and offer your help to the overworked demon mother. But be warned, even though the babies are cute, they are still demons. Seize your opportunity, since their mother will only entrust you with one of her babies - once. So you better give your best to cater to the numerous whims the demon baby may have. Get your baby in time in order to be able to show that you can handle any task the baby throws at you. It will probably not always be easy to satisfy a crying demon baby but if you manage this challenge and return the cute little rascal cheerfully to its mommy you will receive an adorable reward.
This year, three new demon babies have been added to the reward pool! Let's give a warm welcome to Badbara, Tearesa and Cryana.
  
In addition, if your game world returns enough satisfied babies to the demon mother until May 14, server save, she will reward the world with an experience bonus of 50% until May 21.

Dear Tibians,
time flies... It feels like yesterday when my career as community manager started. Meanwhile, almost three years have passed since I joined my colleagues here at CipSoft. Three years in which a lot has happened. Just like Tibia, my job has often been a rollercoaster of emotions.
When I think about the topics and decisions we have shared and discussed with our community in those past three years, we have pretty much had them all. I have been the bearer of good news, as well as the bogeyman who was -at least in some eyes- obviously trying to kill Tibia (again) (and again).
Yet, all good things come to an end and I would like to use the opportunity to say thank you at this point.
Thank you for everything I was able to learn during this time. Thank you for all the helpful discussions, the valuable feedback and detailed responses waiting for me on Monday mornings and even the snappish comments when things did go sideways from time to time. Every thread, proposal and shared idea has enriched my personal progress and pushed me forward and I will always be grateful for that.
For me, the time has come to say goodbye, at least to a certain extend.
As of May 01, I will join our test team and will no longer work as a community manager for Tibia.
So don't get your hopes up, you will not get rid of me completely! 
In my new function as a tester we will certainly run into each other on the test servers. I will also keep my nickname so do not be surprised when my old posts are going to be shown as Burchan - Tester.
Mirade and Rejana will take over the forum again and have the honour to announce some really great and exciting news to you soon while I will go hunting bugs from now on.
With this in mind, stay as you are and next time you find a bug, you know who to blame for (please don't).
Thanks again for these amazing three years! I will see you all on the next test server!
