I asked to runemaster Frans in Venore how is it possible that fire is flaming under water.
He told me that if i didn't stop asking stupid questions, than he will lit my robe under water. Luckily i wear zaoan robe..

Because under water fire fields are turning into groundbaits which in reality are traps from Quaras. Attacks from fire stimulate sexual excitement on Quaras and Crabs so that they can reproduce and born new ugly kids.

During creating Tibia, fiery god went to the lake to take bath and rest. But at the beginning he couldn't ignite his flames, and he didn't like that... So he asked God of gods for ability to use fire under water. As they liked each other, God fulfilled his request. And since then, we can all use flames under water.

Because in Tibia, fire have some magical properties, for example, have you ever tried to extinguishing a fire field with a vial of water in Tibia? I mean, that fire is really mystical.
