Cipsoft thought that people who play Tibia rarely see the sky in real life so they wouldn't care about it in the game.

Why is there no sky in Tibia?
In fact, there is a sky but the Gods don’t let us; mortals, see it because since they live there, they don’t want us to invade their privacy. Besides… who would want to be traumatized seeing any of them coming out of the shower or pooping?!

Why is there no sky in Tibia?
There actually is a sky in Tibia, but programmers forgot to put the “Sky Viewer” option, as well as Google Earth has.

There is no sky, because Tibia is like a doll house, have you ever saw rain, snow or even sun shining on the ground? NO! We are just dolls played by Cip ^^

If there was a sky in Tibia, there would have to be rain in Tibia. If there was rain in Tibia there would have to be clouds. If there are clouds in Tibia there would probably be Thunder and Lightning too. Doesn't that mean that there would be wind as well? Oh and the water would have to reflect the clouds and lightning, and you would have to be able to see the wind make the waves choppy. I'm sure i was going somewhere with this, but considering the AMAZING graphics that Tibia has, don't you think the CIP programer reading this already fell out of his chair dead (from rofling ofc) at the consequences of someone asking where the sky went? At least no one can run around screaming "THE SKY IS FALLING, THE SKY IS FALLING."
Instead we can wonder, if the sky were there, would it be falling and if so would it be the end of our happy Tibian world?

There is no sky because in place of it, there is the cameras that is pointing and filming us, that's why we can always see us in the center of the game window.

I'm sure that Tibia has sky, but the One who still stares at us from above is allergic to the sun, like me, and when He would turned his head towards the sun, he would lose his sight and He could saw a large black spots, so Tibia would be black too... moreover, He has a better view from above than from below ];-)
