Rowana, Garnera, and Serdebra Shielded by BattlEye
In order to be able to make an informed decision on how to proceed from here on out, we also need information on BattlEye's impact on already existing game worlds. We need to know how the activation of BattlEye on these worlds may affect their communities and economies. As a company, we also need to pay attention to how this may impact our revenue.
Therefore, our next step is to gather more data by activating BattlEye on Rowana, Garnera, and Serdebra on Thursday, May 18, at server save. From then on, it will not be possible anymore to log in and play on these worlds if BattlEye detects a cheating program or if you try to use a manipulated client to play. Please also note that it will not be possible anymore to use the Tibia Flash client to play on these worlds.
During the next weeks, we are going to thoroughly analyse and evaluate effects and consequences of this step. We plan to update you on our conclusions and next steps in about six weeks.
