In December, we gave you a glimpse on the status of the
Tibia Observer, a notification app that keeps you up-to-date about certain Tibia activities. Last week, our closed beta testers already tried out the latest version and helped us to iron out a few issues so we can now start the public beta phase.
We are happy to inform you that we have launched the public beta today by inviting around 2000 accounts from our private test server pool. We decided to limit the number at the start as a technical precaution to ensure that things go smoothly before we invite a larger number of players.
To find out whether or not you are among the invited accounts, check your account management. As shown in the screenshot below,
invited accounts can see the "Tibia Observer" section displayed there including a button to connect their account to the app via a unique token. They can also find a link to the Google Play Store there to download the Tibia Observer app. More information on the app can also be found in the respective
FAQs.
If you come across bugs or problems while testing the app, please use the designated
Tibia Observer bug report thread to report them there. When reporting a bug, be as specific, concise and to the point as possible while giving enough detail for understanding.
Please note that currently only invited accounts are able to connect the app to their account to use it!
If the Tibia Observer section is not displayed in your account management, it means that your account is not invited at the moment.
Throughout the next weeks and depending on how the beta is running, we plan to gradually invite more and more players to join the test.
Have fun!
