New Open PvP Worlds Shielded by BattlEye Fellow Tibians, in the last few weeks, Cipsoft have started the initial phase of the integration of BattlEye and are now moving on to the next phase.
They are happy to announce that they are planning to set up three new Open PvP game worlds which are going to be actively shielded by BattlEye. This means that it will not be possible to log in and play if BattlEye detects a cheating program. Trying to use a manipulated client to bypass BattlEye will lead to a disconnect a few seconds after login. We have also taken precautions to identify and take action against repeated logins via manipulated clients.
Moreover, these game worlds will be Tibia 11 exclusive, they cannot be accessed via Tibia 10 or the Flash client.
Honbra will be located in South America, Noctera will be set up in North America and Vita will be located in the EU. All of them will be launched during the course of the day on April 18.
For a certain amount of time, only players with premium status will be able to play there. Additionally, they will be blocked for character world transfers for a significant amount of time. Please note, though, that depending on how their populations evolve, it may still be possible that these worlds will be opened for transfers or even be merged with other worlds at some point of time.

Tibia 10 Client Outdated and Unsupported Tibia 11 is the recommended official standard client to play Tibia. Since its release in October 2016, the client has been constantly improved and new features have been added. Naturally, Cipsoft will continue to optimise the client and add more cool stuff to enhance your Tibia experience.
As you probably know, their goal is to offer one client for all players, the Tibia 11 client. Thus, they are working towards removing the previous stand-alone client, Tibia 10, and also the Tibia Flash client. They already stopped the official support of Tibia 10 back in October 2016. There is no exact date yet when Tibia 10 will be discontinued but before long, it will not be possible anymore to log in and play via this obsolete client. As a first step, the Linux version of Tibia 10 has been discontinued as of today. Furthermore, various messages and warnings have been added to Tibia 10 to make its users aware of the client's outdated and unsupported state. In addition, the download section has been updated to reflect this as well.

Dev Note About Tibia 11 Analytics Feature Tibians, Cipsoft has prepared a new dev note to give you the opportunity to give feedback about something they are currently working on!
As you may know already, CipSoft is developing an analytics feature for the Tibia 11 client. This feature is inspired by Tibialyzer, a popular, unofficial extension that was created by Mytherin.
It will provide you with useful information and statistics about your hunting sessions and thus, help you to analyse and optimise them. They plan to release this feature as a part of this year's summer update which is currently scheduled for the end of July.
Today, they would like to give an overview of the basic set of functions that this feature will offer since they are curious to hear your thoughts and opinions on this. Check the dev note post and corresponding questions in the Auditorium to find out more and help us with your feedback until April 17, 12:00 CEST.

We added new decorative items to the Store today.
Everbody is familiar with the annoying sound of flies and midges flying through the air while you are trying to sleep. Get yourself a chameleon and you will not have to suffer from these little troublemakers ever again!
If you are more interested in the mysteries of blood-sucking bats or like the dark colours of the gothic culture, we do now offer special furniture for your taste. Decorate your living room with dark and gloomy furniture and use the Vengothic Lamp to produce eerily beautiful light effects.
For those who have green fingers we have new plants and flowers in store. Beautiful pink, red and yellow roses, a bitter-smack leaf and a blooming cactus can embellish your house and your garden.
When bought, these items are directly delivered to you as decoration kits, which can be unwrapped inside your house. The unwrapped decoration items are non-takeable and also indestructible.

Hear ye! Hear ye! An icy bridge reaches toward an isle of frost and hidden fire, with cold-hearted monsters grim and dire.
From April 03 on until May 03, the island Chyllfroest will be accessible once again for all premium players. West of Svargrond, an icy bridge will start forming within the next couple of days. This bridge will make it possible to access this special island. You will find different dungeons with various creatures for different level ranges there.
If you are exploring Chyllfroest deeper, you might also find one of the famous frozen ursagrodons which can be thawed and tamed with some luck.
But be aware: Rumour has it that yetis have been seen on this island, before, too.

This Week in Saving Tibia There has been some speculation on a certain website about our new intern CEO. He is rumoured to have been in charge for a few months now and for being responsible for all the improvements in Tibia during this time.
We decided to look for this mysterious man and were able to catch him in-between meetings. He agreed to answer some questions.
What do you think about the technical integration of BattlEye so far?
I think it's quite promising. There were no major issues after the technical integration. This has enabled us to start gathering and analysing the data that we need to ensure a smooth activation of BattlEye. Even though we still have a lot of data to analyse, you could say that I'm quite happy with the results so far.
We have received reports from players not being able to emulate the Tibia 11 client on their Mac operating systems anymore due to the integration of BattlEye.
Oh, if that's the case, that’s definitely not cool! Thanks for mentioning it.
Let me think about it...
Well, I haven't told anyone yet but I've been working on a private project because I play Tibia on my Mac as well and Adobe Flash is nearing the end of its days. This project is not yet fully developed but I guess under the given circumstances we could start a public testing phase of my Mac client at the end of April. Yes, that's how we'll do it!
This is fantastic news! You said you play Tibia yourself, may we ask which game world type is your favourite one?
That's a good question! In my opinion, every type has its very own pros and cons. Nevertheless, I consider myself more of a competitive player. I've played Retro Open PvP as well as Hardcore PvP and I loved the competition I experienced in wars against other guilds and players. Ha, good times! Some players produce really cool videos about these fights. Great content if you ask me.
There's this one guy in particular who explained in a video why he thinks that Retro Hardcore PvP game worlds would make a great addition to Tibia. I really liked that one!
The more I think about it...
I mean, his arguments are solid, I guess...
You know what? Let's give it a try! The summer update will be the perfect opportunity to launch Retro Hardcore PvP worlds. I'll talk to the rest of the team to set everything in motion and start planning right away.

Technical Integration of BattlEye Fellow Tibians, with today's server save we have implemented BattlEye into our stand-alone clients and therefore started the initial phase in which we will focus on gathering and analysing data.
This being the case, it is likely that you do not yet experience significant changes of the botting situation ingame since BattlEye does not yet actively shield Tibia from cheating. Nevertheless, a few cheats, unauthorised tools and applications may already be blocked and stop working as a side-effect of the technical integration of BattlEye.
Once BattlEye meets our quality standards and works as intended, it will be activated and shield Tibia against cheating. We will inform you about this activation as soon as we can provide you with a reliable date.
The technical integration requires a new version of our clients. Tibia 11 users can download the update via the launcher. If you want to get the new version of the Tibia 10 client, please visit our download section.
Furthermore, a new NPC called Edgar-Ellen arrived in Thais. He stands near the fountain on Royal Lane and recites the winning poems of our "It's time to Rhyme" contest.
