Hey everyone!
It's been a while with FunTibia around, but we haven't been really active last years. Long story short - we've decided that it's about time to close this project.
Even if Tibians tend to complain about every single thing, for some reason we're all here. People are fun. Hunting, questing, finding your way out from motls, selling items to Alesar? Find the right community to accompany you and everything's fun, and Tibia is one of the best community builder out there!
We're leaving convinced that you're all capable of having fun here, even without FunTibia around : )
There's one more thing we'd want to do before we go... *hands out a dread doll out of his backpack* ... we've got couple of those left. How about a raffle?
5 dread dolls in the raffle, let's party!
Balancing Project Changes
Dear Tibians,
first of all, we would like to thank you once more for your participation in the survey, your ongoing discussions in the forum and your detailed analyses.
Our general aim is to provide biweekly patches. Next week is an exception, as we additionally plan to introduce some adjustments to the map layout of the Ferumbras' Ascendant hunting grounds.
For this week and today's patch, we have made the following changes to those hunting grounds:
General adjustments
Relocation of teleporter entrance points
We have received a lot of feedback that players get killed while being trapped on teleport entrances. We therefore shifted the entrance points from the hub right next to the teleports to give players the opportunity to leave the hunting grounds when being trapped.
Increased experience gain from the Ruthless Seven minions and Ferumbras
experience 50,000 –> 250,000 XP experience 50,000 –> 250,000 XP experience 50,000 –> 250,000 XP experience 50,000 –> 250,000 XP experience 50,000 –> 250,000 XP experience 50,000 –> 250,000 XP experience 50,000 –> 250,000 XP experience 100,000 –> 500,000 XP
In line with our last major updates, we increased the experience gain from bosses to reward the effort you put into these fights.
Increased respawn rate
- Increased respawn rate of the first level of the Grounds of Undeath by 17%
- Increased respawn rate of the deepest level of the Grounds of Despair by 17%
Monster adjustments
We have received a lot of feedback regarding the Ferumbras' hunting grounds with efficiency of experience gain and the abundance of various debuffs being the most prominent topics. With the following changes we would like to address the feedback and improve your hunting experience.
- Increased experience from 3,555 –> 3,800 XP
This will mainly buff the Grounds of Plague and will also affect Roshamuul Prison, Pits of Inferno, Halls of Ascension and others.
- Reduced debuff of melee/distance fighting skill
This will mainly buff the Grounds of Fire and will also affect Oramond Mountain Hideout, Fury Hell, The Extension Site and others.
- Increased experience from 11,000 –> 11,720 XP
This will affect most of the grounds.
- Decreased hit points from 20,000 –> 18,000 HP
This will mainly affect the Grounds of Destruction.
- Increased experience from 3,120 –> 3,400 XP
- Reduced the probability of the fire bomb and its affected tiles
This will mainly buff the Grounds of Fire and will also affect Fury Hell, the Pits of Inferno and others.
- Decreased hit points from 8,900 –> 8,100 HP
- Reduced probability and duration of the speed debuff
- Reduced probability of applying the drunken status effect
This will mainly buff the Grounds of Undeath.
- Increased ice sensitivity from 50 to 90
This will mainly buff the Grounds of Undeath.
- Reduced probability of summoning copies
This will mainly buff the Grounds of Deceit and will also affect the Demon Forge, Drefia Spirit Grounds and Pits of Inferno.
- Increased experience from 1,666 –> 1,800 XP
This will mainly buff the Grounds of Deceit and will also affect Oramond Mountain Hideout, Formorgar Mines, Pits of Inferno and others.
- Decreased hit points from 7,500 –> 6,600 HP
- Significantly reduced flee threshold
- Reduced mana drain damage
- Some debuffs on players cannot trigger simultaneously anymore
This will mainly buff the Grounds of Despair.
That wraps up our initial adjustment of the balancing project.

Happy Hunting, Shazaya and Ilyndor
Dear Tibians!
In our latest survey, we asked you which hunting grounds need improvements the most and in what aspects. Out of the 60,000 accounts invited, over 8,000 fully completed the survey. A huge thank you to every participant for your invaluable contributions.
This survey is the start of a new project focused on refining hunting grounds, with the support of your input and backed up by our data. Here are our next steps:
Analysing feedback: We are currently reviewing your responses to gain a better understanding of your feedback and to evaluate possible adjustments.
Implementing changes: Through regular balancing patches up until the end of May, we plan to introduce improvements based on your input. These updates may include experimental adjustments beyond simple number changes, as part of our effort to enhance your hunting experience. Some of these changes may also require further finetuning to reach our desired goals.
We view this project as an opportunity to learn more about what makes hunting enjoyable for you and to use this knowledge to make your gaming experience even more exciting. An additional goal that we would like to achieve with our adjustments is the improvement of less populated hunting grounds to make them a viable choice again.
Our first patch is scheduled for release next week and will focus on the areas that are part of the "Ferumbras' Ascendant" Quest. This decision was already made before the survey, taking into account the feedback we received over the last few years.
Again, we are thankful for your participation and look forward to further improving Tibia's hunting grounds with your help over the coming months.
Stay tuned, Your Tibia Team
Do you want to party like there is no tomorrow? Ready for some fun activities? Then you are in luck, as Orcsoberfest is right around the corner!
It is time again for the orgers to get their fill of all the food and beer one could ever dream of, while diligent orcs work tirelessly to ensure that no plate and no stein is ever empty. Gain festive points by engaging in numerous activities, partake in the lottery to have a chance at winning great prizes or try to satiate King Chuck's voracious appetite in exchange for a reward.
As of server save on March 8, a tent will appear south of Thais. Inside is a teleport which is open to any Premium player, bringing you to Orcsoberfest island. Talk to your friendly neighbourhood orger Xaver first after your arrival or directly engage in the activities if you are an Orcsoberfest veteran.
The festival concludes on March 15. During the weekend after the event (server save on March 15 until server save on March 18 ) all game worlds will receive a 50% XP boost for creatures of the "demon" bestiary class.
As they say on the island, meaning 'Happy festivities!' in Orcish:
Otsaf'tis! Your Community Managers
With today's server save, we have implemented the following fixes and changes:
- Players who want to change their registration information will now instantly get an email containing a verification link that needs to be confirmed. This also applies to the initial registration of accounts that are more than one year old. Following that, the 30-day waiting period starts as usual, and after this period concludes, the player must click "Accept" to finalise the process, just as before.
- We resolved a problem that caused the Root/Fear effect applied by certain monsters to persist for a longer duration than intended.
- We have improved the animations of some creatures and environment objects.
- With today's release, a new Observer app is available for iOS and Android. This update is strictly technical, introducing no new functionalities. It is important to note that Android version 7.1 or later is required to use the app.
See you in Tibia, Your Community Managers
