The towncryer yells: "From far and wide you shall appear, to celebrate a special year! You should follow my advice, since you can win a special price. Write a poem in the feedback field and you may win a special shield."
We would like to give our players the chance to win a very rare and special item in gratitude for all the wonderful and amazing years we have spent together.
All you have to do to participate in our contest is send us a rhyme of your own personal Tibia story via a special feedback form between the server saves of January 10 and January 17.
Share a small anecdote of your life in Tibia with us, one that has stayed in your memory over the years. Let your creativity run wild and compose nice verses. For a better illustration we have prepared an example:
"A knight from Celesta once bought green tunics in a daze. Alas, she forgot her lack of space. She couldn't carry any more, so the tunics landed on Edron's floor."
The only time these shields were handed out was during Tibia's 5th anniversary.
Now, 15 years later, we will give out 20 of these shields again.
Out of all valid entries, 200 will be drawn randomly, from which the community managers will select their 20 personal favourites.
Spare no efforts, since your rhymes might be heard all over Thais one day. An NPC reciting the winners' poems will be implemented in the following months.
Additionaly, the winning poems will be transcribed onto old scrolls and we will publish these on our Facebook page.

Who would have ever guessed that a game as big as Tibia would arise from a hobby project started by these four adventurers, so many years ago...
Without you, Tibians, all this would not be possible! You are the ones who have kept Tibia alive all those years, with your passion, your dedication, your creativity, and also your patience and perseverance. There have been some rough times in Tibia's life, too. But you have stayed with us, have provided us with feedback and bug reports, critique, as well as positive comments. You have often brought smiles to our faces. We and Tibia are lucky to have you all with us. Thank you for playing and thank you for being a part of all this. Thank you for these past 20 years, and we hope you'll accompany us on Tibia's journey in the future, too!
We also want to use this opportunity to honour guilds that have existed for a long time once again. The guild leaders of guilds that have supported and backed up brave warriors for 5 years or longer, counting backwards from today, will receive 20 special tapestries embroidered with the guild's age and the guild's name. In addition, the three oldest guilds on each game world will receive a goblet with a special inscription. A bronze goblet for the third oldest guild, a silver goblet for the second oldest guild, and a golden goblet for the oldest. Of course, we suggest you display these decorative items in your guildhalls!

Content Fixes and Changes With today's server save we changed the following:
- Prey system: We removed "Omnivora" from the monster lists.
- Prey system: We added "Deepling Guard" to the monster lists.
- Forgotten Knowledge: As originally intended, free players can no longer access the pond located in the south-west of the outlaw camp near the green portal.
- We reduced the buying price for heavy old tomes to 30 gold coins per tome.

Extended Double XP and Skill Weekend
Fellow Tibians, the year is coming to an end and we would like to celebrate it with a double XP/skill event. We added an additional day to make it even more worthwhile. Gather your party and enjoy the extra long weekend!
Between the server saves of December 23 and December 27, all monsters will yield twice the usual amount of experience points, and your skill training, including magic level, will advance twice as fast. The skill progress when training offline will also be doubled.

Today, we release additional fixes for the Tibia 11 client. Among others, we were able to fix the following:
- The Tibia 11 client should now provide a better scaling on high resolution displays.
- Creatures which have returned to the ingame window are now set to the correct position in the battle list.
- FPS drops in e.g. highly populated areas should now be reduced.
- An issue allowing the crosshair cursor to co-occur with a dialog window, is now fixed.
- The market now shows the correct item icons while navigating through the "Object Types (in Depot)" with arrow keys.
- Switching collums in the "select outfit" window does no longer result in FPS drops.
- An issue causing the client to crash under certain circumstances was fixed.
