The world event Bewitched will start tomorrow, January 12, after server save. Supply the witches with the needed ingredients for their magical brewage, and protect their cauldron from the bane-bringers. Who knows, you might even get the chance to fight their leader, the bane lord.
Gather enough ingredients and keep the cauldron boiling until January 16, server save, in order to succeed. A special book which you can find in the green claw swamp will provide you with further information on the event and your task.
In case of success, your entire game world will be rewarded with an experience bonus of 20%, and a slightly reduced death penalty for 10 days. In addition, by contributing to the event you can earn favour points which you can trade for potions with Minzy.

Bugfixes and Content Changes
With today's server save, we updated our Tibia client and added some changes:
- Fixed several issues that caused some events from our 20 years of Tibia celebration to reappear.
- An issue causing occasional FPS drops while Quick Looting has been resolved.
- NPC Grizzly Adams is now listed as Sell/Buy NPC in the Cyclopedia.
- The gold display is now updated every time you close the Bestiary and open it again.
- We added missing achievements for mount "Mole" and the Makeshift Warrior outfit.
- Freshly killed corpses of several new monsters are no longer moveable by everyone.
- The following monsters have been removed from the Bestiary: Elf Overseer, Insectoid Scout, Dryad, Vicious Manbat, Nightfiend.
- We increased the time to rescue captured dwarfs before they disappear.
- Explosive Growth: Adjusted explosion radius in room three and four.

When you currently roam the streets of the cities in Tibia, you might see some grynch clan goblins running away from you hastily, looking for a place to hide. You might also see several nicely decorated houses, and you will notice the smell of oranges and freshly baked cookies in the air. That can only mean one thing: The year is almost over and the holiday season is here. If you have not picked up your present from a Messenger of Santa, yet, you should definitely do so!
And afterwards, let us know what you have received! We invite you to participate in our traditional holiday raffle What has Santa given you? for a chance to receive a CM Token and a santa fox! The feedback form will be open for submissions till January 6. Afterwards, we will automatically draw three winners and deliver the items to the inbox of the highest levelled character of the account that was used to fill in the feedback form. We will publish a newsticker when the prizes have been sent out.
That is not all news there is, though. We are really thrilled by the community support that we have received throughout this entire year. So we would like to offer a little present in return. We have put together a special Fankit for you, including amazing illustrations, overlays and emotes, for example. These elements might come in handy especially for people who have their own streaming channels, for instance, on Twitch, or Youtube. Of course everybody else is invited as well to have a look at all the available graphics in this special kit. You can basically use all of them to your liking, within the scope of the CipSoft Video and Screenshot policy, which is provided in the kit itself, too! Bugfixes and Content Changes
Time for another round of bugfixes and content changes:
- We removed the following creatures from the Bestiary: Charger, Cursed Gladiator, Dawn Bat, Death Reaper, Depolarized Crackler, Dwarf Henchman, Ghost of a Planegazer, Harbinger of Darkness, Lesser Swarmer, Lizard Gate Guardian, Murderous Ghost, Mushroom Sniffer, Overcharge, Squidgy Slime, Swarmer Hatchling, Unstable Spark, Vortex Spawn, Young Troll.
- Makeshift Warrior outfit addons and suspicious device are now listed in the correct Market category.
- You can now wear a suspicious device as an amulet.
- Powerful Featherweight imbuement now requires five "Goosebump Leather" instead of "Fig Leaf".
- We fixed the character riding animation on the new mount.
- Further adjustments concerning the loot drop chances of diremaw and deepworm have been made.
- We reworked the Character World Transfer dialog of NPC Sharon.
- Explosive Barrel quest: Increased maximum amount of coexisting barrels.
- Last but not least, we fixed an issue causing the client to crash.

Extended Double XP and Skill Event
An exciting year is coming to an end and we would like to celebrate it with a special event.
To prepare your characters for upcoming challenges and evil threats that await them in 2018, an extended double XP and double skill event will give you the chance to improve their progress!
Between the server saves of December 23 and December 27, all monsters will yield twice the usual amount of experience points, and your skill training, including magic level, will advance twice as fast. The skill progress when training offline will also be doubled.

Bugfixes and Content Changes Fellow Tibians,
it is time for some changes and fixes to make the new winter update even more enjoyable:
- Right click in the chat console to open the context menu is now working as intended again.
- Gold, platinum and crystal coin entries are no longer visible in the Market.
- We fixed a visual issue in the Bestiary that occured sometimes after switching characters.
- Show Groups no longer resets after closing the VIP list window.
- Yellow magic walls should no longer appear on Retro Hardcore/Hardcore/Retro Open PvP game worlds.
- An issue causing creatures to ignore a player under certain circumstances is now fixed.
- The quest tracker should no longer show empty entries anymore.
- Character world transfers between Zuna and Zunera are now properly working.
- NPC Ruprecht now lists Santa Fox as an obtainable item.
- Various new creature products that have been introduced with the winter update are now listed in the correct Market/Cyclopedia category.
- We reduced the damage received by lava fields.
- Players can no longer accidentally walk into damage dealing lava fields when map-clicking.
- "Explosive Dwarf Barrel": If the maximum amount of barrels is reached, a message will be displayed when using the lever.
- "Dangerous Depths" - warzone access: The correct amount of points is now deducted if players are members of the "Bigfoot Brigade".
