Once again it is the time of the year when dragon mothers hatch their eggs to send out their dangerous breed to set the Tibian lands on fire.
From today's server save on, until April 23 (server save), almost every dragon lair will be filled with newborn dragon hatchlings. Sharpen your blades! Sharpen your shiver arrows! Get your avalanche and icicle runes! Show them that Tibians are not afraid of fire, but beware: more hatchlings will follow and get out of their eggs until the dragon breeding season is over again! As a reward for your bravery, every dragon hatchling will yield 25% more experience.
In addition, five surprise nests are hidden in most of the Tibian cities and with some luck, you might find something nice in them. Furthermore, rabbits, chickens, and silver rabbits are dropping colourful eggs. During this event, you can also buy them from Imalas, Maria, and Bonifacius.
Get ready!
A new outfit has been added to the Store today!
The Mercenary carries a powerful, razor-sharp axe on his shoulders that effortlessly cuts through any armour and bone.

You should better tell your friends to keep a safe distance, since heads will roll over the blood-soaked battleground after a powerful swing of yours.
Considering the sheer size of this axe, it might even be possible to chop onions without shedding a tear.
Once bought, your character can wear this outfit anytime. The outfit is purely cosmetic and does not bestow any benefits.

On April 1, we had started a quick contest. For 24 hours a feedback form was available, in which we had asked you to submit a short limerick that should refer to Santa and Easter somehow. It was required that the poem would follow the rhyme pattern AABBA.
There were 165 submissions altogether. From these, we community managers have chosen our top three.
The winners have received a CM token, a Santa doll and 30 days of Premium Time. The prizes were sent to the highest level character of the account the limerick was posted with, and in case there were more characters at the same level, we chose the character of these that was logged in last.
Congratulations to the authors of these wonderful limericks:
The First of April is when they fight. From the break of morn, til the dusk of night. The Bunny and the Jolly Man wanting the day as their own, for the winner will take the Spring time throne. Good luck, and battle with all your might.
The Easter Bunny was hopping about He knew his trick would soon be found out. Santa had asked for an egg (for some chocolate he'd beg) not a pretty foil wrapped brussel sprout!
Santa and the Easter Bunny are in a massive altercation. How could anyone predict such disputation? Santa was found with a little amulet a rabbit foot strapped on his corpulent anklet. It may be futile trying a conciliation.
Thank you to all participants, thanks for sharing the day with us in a bit of a foolish way! Your Community Managers
Over the weekend, many Tibians received an invitation to a survey in which we asked a few quick questions about various ideas. Did they sound a bit peculiar to you? Well, then you are on to something...
But first, let us recap the questions:
So are these questions maybe hinting at the contents of the summer update 2018?
No worries, the survey was not an early teaser. In light of April Fools' Day, we took the liberty of creating a fun survey. We are not working on or considering any of the ideas mentioned in the survey. Since April 1st fell on Easter Sunday this year, we started the survey several days in advance - also to make it a bit less obvious that this is an April Fools' joke.
We hope this little prank made you smile and you had fun while taking the survey.
Are you interested in the replies nonetheless? Stay tuned, we will present them in one of our next featured articles.
See you in Tibia! Your Community Managers
Hear ye! Hear ye! An icy bridge reaches toward an isle of frost and hidden fire, with cold-hearted monsters grim and dire.
A cold storm is coming from the north. The howling wind whispers stories of an old and forgotten frozen island. What was once a lush and beautiful paradise is now an everlasting ice desert dominated by various kinds of monsters. Deep down inside the isle and locked in ice, a once so proud race - the ursagrodon – is sleeping and vigilantly waiting to be freed again...
From April 03 on until May 03, the island Chyllfroest will be accessible once again for all premium players. West of Svargrond, an icy bridge will start forming within the next couple of days. This bridge will make it possible to access this special island. You will find different dungeons with various creatures for different level ranges there. If you are exploring Chyllfroest deeper, you might also find one of the famous frozen ursagrodons which can be thawed and tamed with some luck.
But be aware: Rumour has it that yetis have been seen on this island, before, too.
Enjoy spring, froest is coming... Your Community Managers
Let's go Tibians, it is time to work on your fighting skills and endurance!
In about two weeks your hunts will become a lot more challenging since you will be confronted with rapidly respawning monsters. Once you've killed one, another one will rise moments later trying to send you back to the temple.
Between the server saves of April 06 and April 09, the respawn rate of monsters in Tibia will be increased!
You should better make sure that you take enough potions and other resources with you on your hunts, otherwise you might risk being overrun by your prey.
Have fun, Your Community Managers
